Pearl Cotton #5 DMC per Skein - $2.50 

Select color of pearl cotton that matches or is similar to your Monk's Cloth color. Pearl cotton #5 is used for stitching The Italian Hem Stitch for Monk's Cloth. Many prefer using a #18 tapestry needle for this needle work.    

One skein of pearl cotton is enough for both cut ends of an afghan, throw, baby blanket or two sides of a table runner. For stitching completely around a table runner, two skeins are recommended. Select the desired color.                  Happy weaving!
