This beautiful afghan is a treasure. Its exotic design is reminiscent of stained glass work found in old Italian churches. Ravenna is a beautiful Italian city with many such churches. This pattern is excellent for those who desire more challenge in Swedish weaving. This pattern consists of two basic designs: a large pattern, the "Star Burst Design" and a small border pattern. Many impressive variations can be created from Ravenna's basic patterns.
